Applying For a Scholarship
Arizona Tax Credit is accepting online applications for the 2020-2021 school year!

AzTxCr awards scholarships twice a month. Applying early allows more opportunities for your student to receive scholarship awards during the school year.
By filling out our online application you are applying for tuition assistance with Arizona Tax Credit for your full-time child or children attending a private Arizona school or who are in the enrollment process. If a private school only offers half day kindergarten classes that satisfy kindergarten requirements than the student is considered full-time.
As a parent or guardian you need to apply one time per school year. Incomplete applications will not be considered for a scholarship award. Please make sure you have read the instructions carefully, answered all questions and have included all the necessary information and documentation required when applying.
Items you will need:
Gross Annual Income amounts for each member of your household. Any individuals living as one economic unit and sharing housing income and expenses is considered a member of the household. This includes grandma, uncle, and even an unrelated individual if they are living with you and share income and expenses. You will need to include the current gross annual income for all applicable household members as long as it is a fair representation of their normal household income. If not, and in the case of self-employed individuals, please include an average gross yearly income from past years to current.
Additional Optional Documentation to support your request for tuition assistance. These documents may include:
- Your most recent filed tax returns
- The most current report card for the child or children you are applying for
- A letter of recommendation
If you are applying for Overflow/Plus and Corporate funding awards, verification of eligibility is a requirement. You will need to include previous tax credit scholarships received (if not from Arizona Tax Credit) and/or records of previous public school attendance in order to be considered for Overflow/Plus and Corporate funding. Award letters from other STOs for your child or children are also acceptable forms of verification. You may submit additional verification forms via fax to (877) 750-7050.
